The studio

Dandandan is a two-person pottery studio. We started with a secondhand wheel and a shared kiln, and still make everything ourselves: throwing, trimming, glazing and packing.

We work in stoneware clay and mix our own glazes. Pieces are fired to around 1240 °C, so they are dishwasher and oven safe.

Because each batch is small, colours and speckles vary from piece to piece. We think that is the point.
